    Wanted: An accurate Ernie plush

I've always been disappointed in the Ernie plushes I've come across. I would love an actual custom puppet like I was offered once, but $700 isn't in my budget. Is it possible to commission someone to create an accurate small Ernie plush (around 9-10" maybe?), not puppet? You know, with wild...

Sesame pics unveiled at Toy Fair

I love these, but yes, Ernie does look a bit tall and slender. Maybe they'll refine him a bit more? I don't care though, because I'm scooping these things up the second they hit the shelves. Sesame is my #1 favorite, followed by TMS. Never got into Fraggle. :)

    Muppet Magazine

Does anyone know where I can find back issues of Muppet Magazine? I used to subscribe as a kid and sadly don't have them anymore. I bid on a bunch of auctions on eBay and only won one - they went for much higher than I expected. I especially would like to get the Summer 1985 issue as that...

    Question about exclusive figures

Thanks for the info, Count. I got an email today saying my membership kit was shipped, so maybe Tony caught up with the orders? I will keep this post to refer to and now I am counting the days until March 18! :) (We need some extra SS graemlins on here now!)

    Question about exclusive figures

Thanks! I cannot wait for Super Grover to make his appearance! I haven't gotten my membership kit yet since I signed up yesterday, but I ordered a tin with Gonzo and two chickens, and it looks like it comes with a t-shirt and some other cool things also. I like reading the Palisades board...

    Question about exclusive figures

I joined the Palisades Collector's Club and had a question about the exclusive figures. They mention members of the club will have access to convention and regional figures, but not retail ones. Are retail ones something like a repaint of a character that sells online and in stores? That was...

Vacation Pepe and Superhero Scooter $5

Not to be a downer, but on the Palisades board several people were not pleased with the customer service at this store: http://www.palisadestoys.com/forum/showthread.php?t=8578 http://www.palisadestoys.com/forum/showthread.php?t=8090&highlight=wizard Just wanted to give you all a...

Why is Sesame Street slowly dying?

I've been wanting to watch an episode for so long but never seem to catch it on TV. My PBS used to play Sesame in various time slots all day long and quite a few in a row on weekends, but now it's reduced to one time during the day. I wonder if other PBS stations are doing this out of cost...

    Best Miss Piggy figure

Thank you for the heads-up, Phil! I saw this late but still managed to get the Swinetrek Playset. Eh, I don't have a lot of room for it, but I'll find someplace, because Link and Dr. Strangepork could use a nice background setting! ;)

    Best Miss Piggy figure

Thank you both. I didn't know there was an EB exclusive Piggy, so I did a search for her and found a picture. She's a much better likeness, in my opinion, so I'll probably order her. Count - the idea about switching heads is pretty good, but I'd probably end up decapitating poor Piggy for...

    Best Miss Piggy figure

I never bought the first Miss Piggy figure to come out because I didn't think it was a good likeness. I loved the one that came with Pigs in Space playset, but I just wanted her and not the whole playset, so I never got that one either. Anyway, does anyone know if there will be another Piggy...

Palisades to produce Sesame Street Action Figures

Ah, thank you, Count. I had forgotten that was Simon the Sound Man. I loved Fat Blue as well, but the Simon and Grover skits always were one of my favorites. Can you tell it's been ages since I've watched a show or even read my "Sesame Street Unpaved" book? ;)

Palisades to produce Sesame Street Action Figures

Oh my gosh, I nearly fell over reading this! They have to make blue man and waiter Grover. You know, "I want a bawk! bawk! sandwich..." *Happy dance*

    Convention exclusive Statler and Waldorf...

http://www.toytokyo.com/product_info.php/products_id/480 Are these worth the $35 and shipping? I'm tempted since I never get to any conventions, or are these pretty common in comic stores or other places? :boo:

    Sesame Street Magazine: September 2004

I thought SS magazine was gone for good too. I remember seeing it at Barnes and Noble up until the last 2 years or so. And I remember Telly being the "Television Monster!" Didn't his eyes look different back then? If I remember correctly, he had red swirls in his eyes. I wish I could get...

    FREE - Muppet Figurine Accessories

I don't even know the member's name that took the rest, but he did email me. Honestly, there was just tiny stuff and a few big pieces, and it was fairly divided between the two. Nobody was trying to hog anything - they simply asked first and I was more than happy to send it out to them. :)

    An accurate Ernie puppet

I know I'm going out on a limb here because there's probably zilch chance of getting one, but is there any way to get an original Ernie puppet from the show or one that looks very close to the real McCoy? Even a plush would be great. I've never seen an Ernie plush that really looks good. So...
