Sad news for Doctor Who fans: Elisabeth Sladen, the actress who portrayed companion Sarah Jane Smith, has passed away from cancer at the age of 63.

I was only just reading in Previews today that her autobiography was coming out and that how her character had endured.I cant beleive she is now gone.
