I don't know if anybody already posted this but she was on the today show in August. Here her interview.

Again, they did something I was taught to never do in live puppetry: "popping up", I was always taught that having your puppet "pop up" into the scene is a definite no-no... but other than that, very cute interview.

She didn't exactly pop-up...she kinda, crawled her way up...

it depends on the scene, sometimes that actually works a lot better than any other entrance..I mean true there are rules to stick by in puppetry but it should be something that you should use your imagination and try different things. And actually you saw her hair first, she also stayed in character, Abby is a little shy but once she starts talking she is a very entergetic three year old. Thanks IlikeMuppets for posting this because I can't watch television in the morning on my campus because of classes and all. So yeah thanks. She is tooo cute. Leslie does an amazing job with her..:)

No problem froggiegirl! I liked the interview and thought it was very cute, too.

I think when they are introducing a major character for the first time to the public, you have to make kind of an intrance.

I agree the Leslie dose a wonderful job with her. She was really good on Blues Clues with the whole interaction thing. Almost better then Elmo a lot of the time.

No, it doesn't. You're a boy and she's a girl, so it makes sence. Being a boy, I think Abby is cute too.
