The Bad news is I couldn't make a group chatroom.
The Good news is I was at least able to make a chatbox for everyone

We have discussed this many times and the answer is that there is less control over what people post. A mod can easily delete posts or ban posters causing problems, but not so much in a chat

I can filter stuff out though since it has a stricter banning option.

IMO I think it would make the boards feel cluttered but that's just me.

I actually was wondering about the chat room issue myself, but had kind of come to the conclusion that 'filtering' is likely the reason we didn't have one.
Still, it would be pretty cool to have something like that going if not officially part of this, then as sort of an aside.
*shrugs* I understand why we don't have one and I can see how that could go sour really fast. Even so, I'd like to think those who jump in would chat responsibly. Maybe you can bleep things out in chats too. *lol* I admit I'm guilty of needing that. Woops!
