Animal and Bean in the Dessert

Chapter 1

It was breaktime at the Muppet Theater, and Bean Bunny wanted to get some candy.

"Hey, I'm going to the candy store", said Bean, "Anybody need anything?"

"CANDY! CANDY!", yelled Animal, excited.

"Okay, what kind of candy would you like?", asked Bean.

"I think you should take Animal with you", said Floyd, "He needs his daily exercise."

"Oh, okay", said Bean, who grabbed Animal's chain.

Animal then ran fast, pulling Bean.

"CANDY STORE!", yelled Animal.

"Slow down, Animal...", yelled Bean.

They were about to get to the candy store.

"We're goign to the candy store, we're going to the cnady store", sung the two in different tones.

"Alright, Animal, just turn around the corner and we'll be there", said Bean.

They turned, but they saw an "out of buisness" sign on the front door.

"What?", thought Bean, "It's out of buisness?"

"Noooooo", yelled Animal, who attemped to eat the "out of buisness" sign.

"Hey! Don't eat that!", said the shopkeeper, "That sign is expensive!"

"WHo are you?", asked Bean.

"I'm the former owner of this store", said the shopkeeper, "I had to close it due to the economy, and the competition."

"Aww, that's a shame", said Bean, "We really wanted some candy."

"Well, you can go to the competition", said the shopkeeper, "Since I don't have a store anymore then it's no longer competition."

"Can you tell me how to get, how to get to the other store?", asked Bean.

"Just keep walking down that way until you see a candy store", said the shopkeepr, "You can't miss it!"

"Well, we can't miss it until we leave it", said Bean.

So Animal and Bean walked down that way. They walked past the bridge.

"So, it's over the bridge", said Bean.

"BRIDGE!", said Animal.

A car past them. Animal chased the car, forcing Bean, whow as holdign onto the chaian, to be dragged away.

Soon, they were in the dessert.

"Boy, it sure is hot here", said Bean, "I hope we're not lost."

"Hot sand", shouted Animal.

"I hope we get there soon", said Bean, "Breaktime is almost over."

"Thirsty!", shouted Animal.

"Well, there is a drink machine over there", said Bean.

They saw a drink machine in the middle of the dessert.

"I can't believe that there's actually a drink machine in the middle of the dessert", said Bean, "And I can't beleive that in this day and age that the drinks are only 25 cents!"

Bean put a quarter into the machine and pressed a button. However, nothing came out.

"Come on, come on", said Bean.

"COME ON COME ON!", shouted Animal.

Bean then saw what the problem was.

"Oh, it's not plugged in", said Bean.

Animal screamed, and knocked down the machine, breaking it open.

"Well, there's an effective way of getting a drink", said Bean.

Animal put a can into his mouth and bit down hard. Bean opened a can the normal way.

"You know, Animal, I think we're lost in the desssert", said Bean.

Chapter 2

Animal and Bean were wandering the dessert, getting hotter and hotter.

"Boy, it sure is hot out here in this dessert", said Bean, "I hope we can find our way back within 40 years."


"LOOK! FOOD!", yelled Animal, who ran off.

"I don't see any food", said Bean, "You must be looking at a mirage."

But Animal did see what he thought was food: A cactus. He bit into the cactus, eating as much as he could.

"That is so not cute, Animal", said Bean.

Then the ground started to shake, and suddenly, oil quirted out from underground.

"Chocolate!", yelled Animal, who drank some.

"It doesn't smell very cute, but it dose look delicious", said Bean, who drank a bit of it, "Yuck!"

Bean grabbed Animal by the chain.

"Come on, Animal", said Bean.

A vulture then flew by them.

"Excuse me, but are yoiu two lost?", asked the vulture.

"LOST! LOST!", yelled Animal.

"We got lost on our way to the candy store", said Bean.

"Well, I know a shortcut to the candy store", said the vulture, "Come and follow me."

And the vulture made a very vicious laugh, which Bean and Animal were oblivious to.

Chapter 3

The vulture had taken Bean and Animal to his cave, and tied them to stakes.

"Hey, this cave doesn't look like any candy shop I've ever seen", said Bean.

"Well, that's because I wasn't really intending on taking you two to the candy shop", said the vulture, "I'm gonna have you two for lunch!"

"Oh, no!", said Bean.

Animal then chewed on his rope, and broke loose.

"Animal free!", said Animal.

"Quick, untie me", said Bean.

"Oh, no you don't!", said the vulture, who held a torch of fire. However, Animal bit into the torch.

"You're crazy, Animal!", said the vulture.

"Animal, sick him!", said Bean.

Animal attacked the vulture, and then he and Bean escaped.

"Whew!", said Bean, "You know, instead of looking for another candy shop, we should have just bought some candy at the gas station."

Animal then pointed up.

"Candy shop, candy shop!", yelled Animal.

Bean looked up, and saw a ccandy shop right up the mountain.

"Well, let's go", said Bean.

The two climbed the mountain, and in no time they got to the candy shop.

"Well, here's to candy", said Bean.

"HUNGREEEEE", yelled Animal.
