I had a strange SS dream like in 2002, which it had the song lyrics of the "Anvil Song" of the red-hot 'I' being made by Joe Raposo, but he died already in 1989. On Sesame Street, the song was never played on the red-hot 'I', just the scary trumpet-and-piano music, but I have the full-length 'red-hot I' skit on one of the eight Unpaveds I have, only on #2558 where Maria is pregnant.

Now, I am here are the lyrics to the never-heard SS song for this skit:

Anvil Song
sung by Chris Cerf (i think)

I know somethin' 'bout the anvil song
(BOOM-BOOM-BOOM-BOOM-BOOM-BOOM-BOOM!)
We see the rectange anvil moving slowly, slowly
'Til it's beginning to change
It's the red-hot...
Red-hot...
Red-hot...
Letter of the day!

We start that the anvil's getting crushed
(BOOM-BOOM-BOOM-BOOM-BOOM-BOOM-BOOM!)
But it had two long lines top and bottom
Have we ever find out what the letter is?
It's the red-hot...
Red-hot...
Red-hot...
Letter of the day!

It's not finished yet, but the machines keep workin'
Don't you know what it is?
Maybe we'd find out!

It starts with words like 'ink' and 'ice cream'!
(BOOM-BOOM-BOOM-BOOM-BOOM-BOOM-BOOM!)
And it's not a consenant, but a vowel
And the anvil's gettin' to be very, very complete!
It's the red-hot...
Red-hot...
Red-hot...
I! The letter I!

(in a scary voice:smile: I!!!!!!!!

Do you think this song is super fan-fictional?
