Sam and Friends BookI think CARTOON NETWORK PRESENTS came first; I have a couple of COW AND CHICKEN issues from 1998, while the two CARTOON NETWORK STARRING issues I have are from 2000. Not to mention there's a blurb on the back page of CARTOON CARTOONS #1 about the transition from STARRING to CC.
That reminds me though: was there any special reason why they phased out the back page that often had blurbs about the comics, answered fan letters, and give you insight into the next issues? Both PRESENTS and STARRING had these, likewise CC did up till I think #9, then they just stopped.
