I'm dissapointed in this show, you know why? Well, I expected better. These costumes look cheaply made, and the scenery looks as it could have been drawn by a toddler! I understand they're trying to make it feel like your in Arthur's world, but they could have done something much more better than that! You don't see VEE Corperation making some cheaply made Sesame Street set(s)and costumes!

Now, if I recall, years ago there was a much better, top noch Arthur stage show which featured better costumes, more charcthers(including Sue Ellen, Arthur's dad, and a cameo by Bionic Bunny), and much better scenery.

See, those are what today's kids are missing out on...good quality family style entertainment, but instead just a bunch of cheaply made crap thrown together. Honestly, I really thought this new Arthur show(Arthur Tricks the Tooth Fairy) would be a great follow- up to the A Live Adventure show. I have no plans of seeing this if it comes.

I thought it looked like they were trying to recapture the look and feel of an actual Arthur BOOK by Marc Brown, rather than the TV show.

Honestly, you'd expect better out of a bunch of people in walk around costumes dancing and miming to a prerecorded soundtrack.

But it can't be any worse than the actually live performance of Arthur I saw years ago at the Boston Children's Museum. Basically, it was just 2 women playing Arthur and DW. Not even in costumes. Imagination costumes. And they actually had to sing the theme song for no apparent reason when they "changed" the "Scenary." But it was free with the price of admission to the Museum, so whaddaya expect? Shoulda just went to the model Japanese house instead. I always loved that thing. Saw a bit of Anpanman when I was 10, there, as well as some of Disney's Pinnochio in Japanese. Ahhhhh, I hate being an adult sometimes. I really miss the Children's Museum.

That said, I do like how the costumes look like a cross between the show and the book.

Not too fond of the costumes, but I think the scenery is done quite well. Just has that perfect Arthur style to it. It really brings back memories.

Aww, dang! Now I've got Ziggy Marley songs running through my head!
