For me, I prefer the stuff that doesn't happen on stage, but instead, backstage. There's been some incredibly funny stuff goin on there in the years The Muppet Show ran, and I was wondering if people would like to share their favorite funny/ interesting moments from the show.

Some of my favorites include.....

*Fozzie practicing to be a telephone pole.
*Kermit firing Miss Piggy.
*Fozzie telling Kermit that Gonzo has perfected half of his motorcycle jump (the take-off half.. the landing still needs work).
*Gonzo and Madeline Kahn singing The Wishing Song.
*Floyd and the orchestra performing a new theme song, Fugue For Frog.
*Scooter bringing a robot version of Kermit to the theater.
*Kermit explainging to Melissa anchester that things only fall on the Newsman.
*Gene Kelly singing Singing in the Rain.

*The telephone running gag(things coming out of the phone).
*The orchestra decides to quit.
I can't think of anything else at the moment.

I just love seeing Kermit doing business at his desk, coffee cup not too far out of reach (even though I hate coffee myself! I understand why Kermit might need it daily), and anytime Piggy is talking (or yelling! ha) from her dressing room door with Kermit in the foreground.

Yeah, backstage moments were the best. I really wish Season 2 would hurry up!

I like the Kermit and Floyd moments, especially if you add Scooter or Fozzie. I haven't seen too many Muppet Show episodes, but I always liked how Floyd was one of the main "Backstage" muppets.
