Forgive if this has been mentioned, but I just found this info by accident this morning.

It looks like this special is going to be released on DVD - tomorrow. I found it at a DVD site and then confirmed it at Sony's site here :

It is slated for a September 24 release. This is one of my favorites!

Thanks for the info! I checked a couple sites for it, and you can pre-order it from BestBuy.com for 9.99.

I just found out through a search on the internet about an hour ago that it is coming out tomorrow(on dvd Empire), so I came here to report the same thing you did. I did a search on the forum here to see if anyone else mentioned it and found your post.

That is sweet! I wanted this thing to go on dvd last year and it's finally here, the day after I check to see if it's on dvd! What a coincedence. I just wish they were using the picture off of the old VHS box and book. Oh well. Now we need The Christmas Toy on dvd and we'll be set. :D
