Looks like this might be interesting for anyone in Philly & the surrounding area. From www.renaissanceartist.com:

Cetacean, From Sea to Land and Beyond
The story of the Toothed Whale's evolution

This production was researched and developed by Renaissance Artist Puppet Company as part of our 2003-2004 educational cross curriculum programming. We are very happy to be working with the Lion Theatre again this year as part of their performances for the education of young audiences.

"Cetacean" explores one of the two predominant hypotheses of how toothed whales evolved during the Eocene period. This show mixes paleontology with music, movement, and a bit of geography into a Puppetry theatre spectacular.

How did Orcas, Sperm Whales, and Dolphins evolve from a critter like Andrewsarcus mongoliensis? We share 5 steps in the long chain of animals hypothesized to have been in the Toothed whales past. We actually had to build all the characters 1/4 of what their actual size was when they lived.

Show performed in Manipulation a'vue with modified marionette and rod style puppets, with an original music score based on Pakistani Folk music, ocean, and whale sounds.

This show will have two public performances on Saturday October 18th and Sunday October 19th, both at 2 pm.

School performance on October the 20th at 10 am. This performance is suggested for grades 4th through 8th.

Show running time approximately 50 minutes.

Performance held at the Lion Theatre
