I'm a general music teacher & I would love for my 2nd graders to perform "Sing" at their concert this Spring. I heard a recording of it a while ago that had Spanish lyrics echoing the English ones. Does anybody have these or can anyone at least translate the English lyrics?

This would be a huuuge help! Here are the English lyrics if you are willing to translate them into something singable:

Sing
Sing a song
Sing out loud
Sing out strong
Sing of good things, not bad
Sing of happy, not sad

Sing
Sing a song
Make it simple
To last your whole life long
Don't worry that it's not good enough
For anyone else to hear
Sing
Sing a song

Thanks so much!

Cantar
Cantar un cancion
Cantar en voz alta
Cantar fuerte
Cantar de que buenas cosas no mal
Cantar de feliz no triste

Cantar
Cantar un cancion
Hace es sencillo
Duradero su vida la toda
No te preocupes pero eso no basta
Para cualquiera otro me alegro
Cantar
Cantar un cancion.

Pronounce double L's as a y. Cancion is con-see-yone. Hace is ah-say. De is day, te is tay. Sencillo is sen-see-yo. Triste is tree-stay. Have fun!

I've taken a semester and a half of Spanish. So I drive my Mexican pen pals nuts by writing in half English, half Spanish. They're really lucky I don't write 'em in German. I keep talking to my Spanish professor in German.

All I know is english. I started to take a Spanish class but, I had myself removed out of it after the second day, cause I knew it wasn't going to work out.

lol.

That's okay, better to do that than waste your or the teacher's time. Everybody has stuff that isn't a good fit for them.
