I know it took place at the bedroom but:

(1) What happens in this sketch?

(2) How is it?

(3) If there's ending music in there, how does it go?

3 questions, please.

(1) I think Ernie talked about squares then triangles then circles all night

(2) Pretty good.

(3) That one, I don't know.

But this E&B skit from Season 2 can be used on SS episode #3126

A few sound bites from this one:

"...the corners on a triangle are pointier."

"Does a circle have one side?
Or lots of sides.
Or no sides at all."

Up until this point it was Ernie talking. then IIRC, he fell asleep and Bert took over. Berts resonse went something like:

"I guess a circle has no sides at ah..."
"Well it could have some sides Ernie, I..."

Then they both appear to be asleep, but Bert lets out a quiet and very perplexed "Circles." and the skit ends. No music ending this one. It is possible, though I have no memory of it, that the skit began with the abbreviated music box lullaby that sometimes introduces E&B bedroom/sleeping sketches.

Yeah no music at all to end this one. Very rare that that happened. I think in that one where Ernie brings the flashlight, umbrella, and Bert's bowling ball to the bathtub it also ends with no music (just the sound of rain and thunder from the sudden storm). Also, kind of interesting in this shapes skit that Bert doesn't say anything until after Ernie falls asleep. He just kept shaking his head (and I think he let out a few sighs of frustration) as Ernie was going on and on about shapes.
