I ordered 1 yard(hope that's enough for a puppet) of that fur, so excited. I will post the final product once finished:smile: Thank you for all your help!

One yard should be plenty as long as you are careful with the cuts. Keep close attention to the direction the fur goes, and always cut from the back with an x-acto knife. That will keep you from making a mess, and also save you from accidentally cutting the fur too short on the other side...

yeah you are better off boiling it - but not for too long - sometimes boiling it for too long will ruin the pile of the fur. you are better off boiling it for a short amount of time and drying it - you can always boil it again if it's not boiled enough.
