Announcer: Ladies and gentlemen, it's time for the Sesame Street Old School Top 40 Countdown, in honor of the show's fortieth anniversary but limiting to approximately the first 24 seasons. And now, here are our hosts, Big Bird and Guy Smiley!

Guy Smiley: Thank you, thank you, boys and girls.
Big Bird: Welcome to the top 40 countdown.
Guy Smiley: Honoring the best Sesame Street segments from approximately the first 24 years, though not manay from seasons 21 through 24.
Big Bird: Let's start off with the first five... Or last five?
Guy Smiley: Let's just call it segments 40 through 36!
