    Chapter 4:

“So you guys are looking for your uncle?” Hatchley asked, head cocked quizzically to the side. The group of Fraggles were currently situated on the couch in the living room, with Hatchley sitting on the end table facing the new visitors splayed on pillows and cushions.
“My uncle actually.” Gobo answered, raising his hand slightly. “I kinda dragged my friends along..” he finished sheepishly.
“Not to mention against our will...” Boober muttered. Red shot a glare at him before speaking.
“We would never leave Gobo alone, especially out in Space. We're like a family, we stick together. We even bring our annoyances.” Red growled, purposely looking at Boober. Giving a snort of contentment, he looked away. Hatchley giggled a little, enjoying the sibling rivalry.
“Well, I'll see how I can help. I haven't seen any other Fraggles since I left my home, but I'm sure if we work together we can come up with something.” Hatchley smiled, optimism shining I in her eyes.
“We could really use the help, thank you.” Gobo said.
“Oh, how rude of me, we never properly introduced ourselves. You know my name, but I never learned yours.” Hatchley said, confusion evident on her face.
    “I'm Gobo.” Gobo nodded.
“I'm Red.” Red raised her hand and grinned.
“My name is Mokey, but you can call me Mokey.” Mokey said softly, a small smile gracing her looks.
“Wembly.” For once Wembly didn't even tremble or stutter. He actually liked this Fraggle very much.
“The name's Gobo.” Gobo relented, realizing he wasn't going to be seeing any laundry for a very long time.
“Tea time!” Ruthy called from the kitchen, her head peaking out from behind the door way. “I have some biscuits and crumpets too if you want some.” She said, stepping over a few paintings and books that were stacked on the floor.
“I need to clean this place up.” Ruthy murmured to herself. “Anyways, have you discovered anything about your uncle?” she asked pleasantly, placing the tray down in front of the Fraggles.
“Well we've figured out a plan... sort of.” Gobo answered, still unsure if he wanted to trust a human.
“Well, my mum always told me tha' gettin' somethin' done halfway was much betta' than gettin' nothin' done.” she stated. Taking cup for herself, Red looked into the dark brown substance.
“Um, excuse me but what is a T?” she asked, raising her eyebrow.
“Tea, t-e-a, is a popular hot drink around the world. There are many ways to make it and also man, many flavors. It's really good, and I already added your sugar and milk. Take a sip and tell me what you think.” Red looked at the liquid once more before cautiously sticking her tongue into it.
“Ouch, it's hot!” Red yelped, cradling her tongue in one hand.
“Yes, I thought I said it was a hot drink...” Ruthy mumbled apologetically. “Try blowing on it and then tasting it. Like this.” Ruthy blew on her own cup for an example. Nodding, Red and the others followed suit.
“You're right, that does help.” Red grinned, taking longer gulps. Gobo watched the others enjoy their own drinks, he took a few sips himself finding the drink quite nice. Yet his eyes always wandered over to Red and her smile, he couldn't help it, but she just always looked so pretty and the butterflies in his stomach refused to settle. He couldn't exactly remember when he had first noticed Red, they would always quarrel and it seemed they were always getting angry about something. He had secretly admired her stubbornness and her ambitions in trying to out-do him in any Fraggle sport. But maybe the first time he had actually noticed her would have been when he had heard her singing in one of the caves they always adventured into. He could still remember the way her hair had hung loose down her shoulders and the sweet, tender words pouring from her mouth. It seemed like it was only yesterday he had walked into that cave, unknowingly to Red.

“Tiny radish flower, how your petals glow,
I look at your color and then I know.
There's a young Fraggle out there on the breeze,
Waiting for a radish heart from me.

Tiny radish bloom, how you face winter's snow,
I want to be like you, brave to face the cold.
To wait for my Fraggle prince, floating on the breeze,
And hear him say he loves me.”

Yes, Gobo remembered how her feet had splashed the pool's water, creating small waves and ripples on the water's surface. Her long, red hair had cascaded down her back and covered most of her face. Gobo had been so caught up in seeing her there, that he didn't realize that he had accidentally knocked over a few rocks from his hiding place. Startled, Red leapt to her feet, face flushed with embarrassment at being caught. However, Gobo was already scurrying away out of site down the tunnel.
Red never did find out who had seen her singing. His heart had never stopped fluttering after that beautiful site by the pool, Gobo only wished he could tell her how he had felt, but he was deathly afraid of harming the friendship they had. He'd rather be her friend than someone she used to know. 'I'm afraid you're Fraggle prince will have to be someone braver than me, Red,' Gobo thought. Sighing, he finished drinking his tea, not seeing that Hatchley had been watching his expression the entire time.

Again, it's a little short. I apologize. But I hope you get your satisfaction. :)
