Gravity Falls Thread

Has anyone seen the new Disney show, Gravity Falls? I, personally, LOVE it! (Then again, I am 13...) They even got Kristen Schaal to be in it! What are your thoughts on the show?

I'm starting to like it too. I like stories that happen in small hard to find towns where crazy things happen. And Mabel is a very funny character and I like her collection of turtleneck sweaters. It's like a mystery solving cartoon from the 70's with sophisticated humor. And Grunkle Stan has very funny dialogue too.

I'm gonna give it chance. The premise seems like it is something I may enjoy, but the animation rubs me the wrong way. Probably cause its so similar to fish hooks, which I can't stand.

Yeah, I hate Fish Hooks' animation.

I haven't seen the show yet, but the clips in the commercials have a lot better animation than Fish Hooks.

I just watched the first episode online. It's a pretty good show! And the animation is definitely better than Fish Hooks. The latter's done in Flash, this uses traditional methods (with digital ink and paint of course).
