By the way, the guy that plays Gordon on "Sesame Street" is Roscoe Orman. That's the only one I'm familiar with anyway.

    Um, Cyndi Lauper. :D
Kathy Bates would be fun too. Cher, because they never got the chance to have her on the Muppet Show. Reese Witherspoon would play well off the characters and it currently hot. I think it's important for the Muppets to associate with new stars. Conan O'Brien, he's earned it with all his Muppet references. He'd do it too. Eric Idle would be a riot. Snoop Dog.... just kidding!

A cool idea would be the speedy delivery guy from MISTER ROGERS NEIGHBORHOOD. It would be kinda bittersweet, too, I think, for him to be starring on a muppets television show after Mister Rogers death.

    As for other guest stars:
    - David Bowie -- If you watched the awesome A&E Live by Request episode with him & caught the telephone conversation between him and that young boy, it is obvious that he loves kids, and thus would be that much better as a guest on the latest muppet show. Plus, I think that many fans would get a kick out of seeing the goblin king and Jim Henson's muppets together!

    - Willie Nelson

    - Neil Young -- His endless hours of work on the annual Bridge School Benefits & undying dedication to the disabled community make him, IMO, a well deserving guest star on a muppets television show

    - Barry Manilow

    Anyway, here's more-

Katie Holmes (She was in "Muppets from Space" being hit on by Pepe and a show with that as the main plot would be funny.)
    Frankie Muniz
    Melissa Joan Hart
    Jimmy Fallon
    Will Sasso
    Andy Dick
    Alyssa Milano

That's all I can think of for now.....

    Ewan Macgregor
    Reese Witherspoon

Rory on Gilmore Girls (.....Dangit, why can I not remember her name???)
    Viggo Mortenson
    Sean Astin
David Foley (Though I doubt he'd do it)
    Harrison Ford
Orlando Bloom (Just because :flirt: )
    Billy Joel

....That's all I can think of for now!

They need actors who can sing. Some suggestions:

Renee Zellweger (she'd be so great with the Muppets)
    Catherine Zeta-Jones
Hugh Jackman (doing something with Miss Piggy)
Jim Broadbent (character actor, let him play some characters)
John C. Reilly (see Jim Broadbent)
    Nicole Kidman (why not?)
    Ewan McGregor (with Piggy, again)
Queen Latifah (pity she makes her $ as a rapper, she's got a great jazz voice)
Richard Gere (again, paired with Miss Piggy)
    Mel Brooks (please!)
Elliott Gould (I get the feeling he wanted to be on TMS; he's a decent song and dance man, too)
Angela Lansbury (this could certainly work)
    Robin Williams (Come on, already!)
    Lily Tomlin
Joan Cusack (don't know if she sings, but she's worked with Oz twice and the Muppets once)

    David "Gorgon Heap" Ebersole

Liv Tyler (I know, I've picked ALOT of people from LOTR already....)
    Kate Hudson
    Matthew Broderick (HE can sing...)

Really? I knof she was in In & Out, what else was she on?

    Here's my list...

Rick Moranis (pre-Honey I Shrunk the Kids. He was hillarious back then!)
    Steve Martin (again)
Rachael Leigh Cook (I've said it before, and I'll say it again: She's so cute!)
    The cast of Seinfeld
David Bowie would be good, and he's worked with the Henson company at least twice.
    Alan Alda
    Dick Van Dyke
    Robin Williams
    Jim Carey
    Howie Mandell
    Tom Hanks
Whoopi Goldberg (she's done so much with the Muppets, I'm sure she'd come back)

    Hmm. Can't think right now.

Of course, very little is known about the format of the new show. I doubt it'll be as much of a Variety show as TMS was, and I think that's a good thing. It's a different, better direction to head.

My mistake, I was thinking of Oz's upcoming remake of The Stepford Wives, which Joan Cusack is going to be in. So she's worked with him once, and is set to work with him a second time.

    Thought of more:

Kelsey Grammer (I may write an outline of this one)
    David Hyde Pierce

    David "Gorgon Heap" Ebersole

You're right. When I walk out in front of a moving vehicle, I stand there and stare at it blankly.
