Harvey Kneeslapper made a cameo in one of Kermit's News Flash segments.

In this one, Kermit was interviewing prospective "merry men" for Robin Hood. However, none of them appeared to be "merry"; one was a little girl who was sad and sobbing, and one was a guy who was broiling mad. Then, H.K. showed up constantly laughing his usual way; at last, someone who is in fact merry. But he kept telling one line jokes non-stop, and Kermit decided he was more silly than merry, and as such was disqualified. At the end, Kermit spoke to an off-camera manager of sorts and asked stuff like "can we have 'angry men'? 'sad men'? How about 'silly men'?..."

Another appearance was in a street scene which I probably only saw once. Three children and H.K. were sitting on the 1-2-3 stoop in a square. The kids just sat there silently sad/depressed, while H.K. continuously spouted off jokes. A "One of these things..." song was sung over the setting. Note that this appeared to be a "standalone" street scene, a la Alphabet Game with Grover and Oscar, rather than a part of the daily story.

Not sure which of the two sketches it was, but one of H.K.'s jokes was the tired old "I wanted to be a doctor, but I didn't have any patience! Ha ha ha..."

That was actually Ernie as Robin Hood looking for merry men therefore it wasn't a newsflash.

I remember Harvey Kneeslapper. SOmetimes his pranks backfired. I rememeber the confetti prank bakfired. A girl Puppet pulled the rope and he got the confetti on him and he was angry, and gave her grief about it.

I just saw Harvey Kneeslapper's appearance on the sketch with Ernie and his merry men on YouTube, which became private by sawing14s where he couldn't stop playing jokes on Ernie.

Now that I've seen it, this now adds to my list of Harvey Kneeslapper sketches that were already made.
