"Charles Rosen sketch of Oscar's home for Sesame Street. (PBS-TV, 1969-present) Original set sketch accomplished in pencil on an 11 in. x 14 in. leaf of artist's drawing paper, featuring Oscar's home with notation at the lower edge, "A Sewer for Oscar?" (this design was rejected). Charles Rosen was Sesame Street's production designer, and was responsible for creating the friendly neighborhood of the Sesame Street characters, familiar to generations of children. Signed by Rosen at the lower right, and matted for framing."
