I'm from Singapore and I like to do puppetery for my church and I would like some help in techniques in puppetery for muppets ( such as movement , speech etc ) Links would be good as I know there is a lot to learn.

I have also seen a puppet which is called a compemtory stick puppet. Bascially it is a wooden stick puppet but the back of the head has holes ( like a bowling ball ) for you to stick your fingers in and it has sticks for you to manipulate the hands. It does have legs but instead a round wooden stand. The puppeteer is fully exposed and has free movement. No strings were involved. Anyone seen these before? If so where can I get them or do I have to make them?
