Yeeeeeeeeeah. Kinda random. But I went out to dinner with my Uncle and his friend who is a film guy, and he and I were talking, because I'm a film guy too, and I kept bringing up how Jim Henson is my greatest inspiration and all sorts of stuff like that, and he's just nodding and smiling. He has a little dvd player playing Sesame Street for his daughter at the end of the table.
Finally, he's like, well, you're not gonna believe this but I'm Jim's second cousin. I was like, whaaaaaaaa" No way. But he produced his driver's liscence and there it was, his last name was "Henson."
He told me he's not really part of the Hensons clan, he joked, it's not like I'm there with Brian every christmas opening presents. He's a second cousin, related to Jim's brothers' wife's side of the family, apparently.
Anyways, It was just kind of neat, though.
And that is my tale.
