When I got to watch the Sesame Street episodes from 1998-2000 on Noggin as the old shows Sesame Street Unpaved and the other Sesame Workshop shows got decreased, they've showed some of the GREAT old skits. I like the episodes from 1998-2000 better, because the episodes 2002-2003 shows were never looked the same and had boring skits like Cookie Monster presenting the Letter Of the Day, the Count presenting the Number Of the Day, Global Grover, Hero Guy, the Monster Clubhouse and Journey to Ernie.

Here are the classic skits I remembered when I watched the shows from Season 30:

Rubber Duckie (original version)
The Ballad of Casey McPhee
Monsterpiece Theater: The King & I
Monsterpiece Theater: Gone With the Wind
Monsterpiece Theater: The Sound Of Music
Mysterious Theater with Sherlock Hemlock: Case Of the Missing Food
Sesame Street News with Kermit the Frog: Piper's Pickled Peppers
Sesame Street News with Kermit the Frog: Christopher Columbus
Ernie & Bert got a new puppy
Bert's nephew Brad's bath
Ernie sings "Happy Birthday To U" to the letter U

Animated skit: G Is For Giggle
Alphaquest-B
Twelve Stones In the Desert Claymation
Growing Numbers skits
Mythical Numbers skits
Counting Circus Tamer-11 Purple Pooches

The Alligator King

And here are the classic skits I remembered when I watched the shows from Season 31:

Monsterpiece Theater: One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest

Animated skit: I Love You
Animated skit: Little detective found the pattern of dots and lines
Animated skit: My Cat Story
Animated skit: G Is For Giggle
Mythical Numbers skits

Bellhop skits
Maria's voice counts anything like eight frogs and nine birds on the 70's animated bits
