I know these probably will go un-noticed by the writing staff of Sesame, but (as many of us know) there has been a drastic lack of a certain 8-foot-2 yellow bird on Sesame Street these days, and I was thinking of an episode that can include the Bird, as well as many characters. Here goes:

Oscar "un-welcomes" the viewers to Sesame Street. He has is grungy old TV out on the crates where he is about to watch his favorite show. He gets annoyed when hearing Gina walking by with Baby Natasha in a stroller and Marco running along beside it (he's got to be like 3 or 4 now right?). Gina is singing a happy song to them. Oscar expresses how much he dislikes happy music.

He gets out his favorite TV snack, moldy popcorn, and is settling in when he hears blasting music ("The Chicken Dance") coming from BB's nest. The Bird is holding a Birdketeer meeting and is teaching them the Chicken Dance (with some chickens to help, of course). Oscar gets very frustrated.

Oscar looks around the street and sees everyone playing music. Gabi and Maria are teaching Rosita and Abby how to samba, using music from Gabi's mp3 player, hooked up to speakers. Elmo Zoe and Baby Bear are teaching Curly Bear if your happy and you know it. Ernie and Bert are having a duckie-and-pigeon concert at the low wall in front of 123 to an audience of Grover, Chris, Homer Honker, and Leela. Susan is humming while watering her flowers.

Oscar is getting so annoyed that he disappears in his can and there is a sound of many power tools and hammers banging and buzzing. He re-appears with a poorly constructed device, which he calls " The Quiet Machine " He turns it on, and suddenly, all the music is disappearing all over Sesame Street. You can see the music notes fly up into the sky. Everyone is curious of what is going on. Big Bird steps outside his nest, and sees all of the music notes going towards a cackling Oscar's machine. He goes around and tells everybody what is going on. They all start to go towards Oscar to confront him.

The mob of silenced singers are at Oscar's can. Oscar is trying to shoo them away because the show is about to start, and the theme song is his favorite part. The theme starts, but then, you see music notes fly up from the TV and into the machine. The theme song of Oscar's favorite show has been silenced because of Oscar's machine! He eventually decides to turn off the machine. Thus returning all music to Sesame Street, and prompting a group hug on Oscar, to his dismay. Big Bird states "Boy, it sure is nice to have a friendly grouch here on Sesame Street!"

Hope you guys like it! Give me feedback! :wisdom:=best :p=alright :boo:= self-explanatory

Wow, really?? No comment on this excellent episode idea?? This would be a stupendous idea! SW definitely needs to consider doing a street story like this!
