We use shrink wrap to make the postcard sets (wooo-hooo! Postcards!), to keep all of the postcards together and compact, like a nice pack of baseball cards or something. And to shrink down all of that plastic (thus, "shrink-wrap"), we use what's basically a hair dryer (but we call it the Shrink-Wrap Gun). It's actually a lot of fun...
