After Jim Henson died, a very close friend of mine (whom I trust) told me that they had seen a very poignant poster of the Muppets on a rainy day at the funeral of Jim Henson.

Does ANY of this ring a bell for anyone?

I've been searching for a long time.

I would appreciate some help.

Cheers

Well actually, a few months ago I read a book with editorial cartoons from the year 1990. I was just looking for a Jim Henson editorial cartoon. It had a black-and-white cartoon of the very thing you're describing.

Kenny,

Do you know the title/author of the book? It might help to track it down.

Indeed. So that someone may scan and share it.

The book is called "Best Editorial Cartoons of the Year, 1991" (yes, 1991) by Charles Brooks. It also has a black-and-white editorial picture of Kermit sitting on a brick wall crying with the moon in the background and it has another cartoon with clouds forming the likenesses of Sammy Davis Jr. and Jim Henson with one road sign pointing the way to "Hollywood Blvd." and the other pointing to "Sesame St."

Speaking of just such tribute drawings, does anyone have (or know how to find) the one described here?

At Henson headquarters in an elegant town house on New York City's East Side, filled with tiny Muppets and Fraggle figurines, a sympathy card rests on a grand piano in the wood-paneled library. A drawing from Disney's crew of designers?the Imagineers?shows Mickey Mouse sitting on a log before a magnificent sunset, his arm draped around a downcast Kermit.

That's probably the most-asked question next to "Are Bert and Ernie Gay?"

By whom? Alaskan sled dog owners?

I've never seen anyone ask it here.

I actually know someone who has it, but can't find it.
