Keeping Puppets Clean

Any suggestions on keeping puppets clean...and free from stains or smells....

for smell i just use fabreeze and dryer sheets inside the puppets...clean hand wash soap and water

I spray them with scotch gaurd when we get new ones. Doesn't help when they are already dirty. Dryer sheets in side helps as. Was staed above.
