No, Fleece isn't their new last name. I went to Hancock Fabrics to look for a pattern and discovered a Miss Piggy fleece print. Our girl has never looked better! While I was ecstatic and clinging to the bolt of pink-patterned fleece, my darling husband searched diligently for the Kermit the Frog fleece print until he found it, knowing that if Miss Piggy was there, Kermit had to be there, too.
I am not un-biased, but I am picky, and I'm not exaggerating when I say that the divine Miss Piggy has never looked more divine. Here's proof:

Kermit didn't look so bad himself. And here's the frog himself, looking rather dapper as well:

If you don't have a Hancock Fabrics, you can try other fabric stores. And all you need is about a yard and a third of fabric to make a nifty little no-sew throw/blanket. (That's what I'm getting for Christmas, but they did let me take pictures of it before they hid it away!) You can also make hats, scarfs and other fleece-type garments if you sew. Hmmmm...wishing I'd bought more fabric for a scarf and hat. Oh well, I can go back!
Enjoy! I think this is a positive sign that someone is noticing our frog and pig in their own right. I DID NOT see Elmo fabric, for example, and this is not Muppet Babies, nor did it seem designed for children. If you can, vote with your pocketbook!
