Heya all. Just thought I'd put this out there:
There is an Australian company that I know of that has been working on a stage adaptation for the Labyrinth to pitch to the Henson company for months now. However the henson company won't even look at it, after all the work they put in! (This is a professional company too!)
Apparently they are considering other deals that mean they can't consider a stage version.
Anyone got any thoughts or ideas?

When a company is busy, they're busy. The best thing to do would be to continue fine-tuning the production and wait.

They should put out a vido like on Your Tube to let people see it.

A stage adaptation?! That's got to be really hard to do (considering the hugeness of Ludo, the smallness of the caterpillar, all the strange creatures, Ludo's rock call)

Forget stage shows, they should do... LABYRINTH ON ICE!
Just kidding!

Labyrinth on Ice... *cracks up*

Actually, a stage adaption wouldn't really be that hard if puppets were heavily involved (just like the movie, really). And if all else fails, they could go for the artsy-representational look, like the stage adaption of The Lion King.

Seeing a guy in a Ludo suit balancing on ice is something I would pay to see.

Lord of the Rings has been done on stage, and that's even more epic than Labyrinth.

This reminds me in a way about the Lord of the Rings musical in Canada and how much that flopped.

Hopefully, this will be a sucess if it comes about.
