Tell me more about this "Jim Henson singing with Frank Sinatra's Orchestra" record you have.

Is this Jim singing as himself, or is he in character? Also, what year is it from, and do you know if it was released to promote a Muppet project? Sounds interesting.

Scott,

Hey,
It is on a 7" record, And it is just Jim Singing by himself.

Its kind of weird music, In the Tick-Tock Sick song he says "Tick, Tock, Tick, Tock" then just sings about weird things like cows and stuff he see's.

It doesnt seem to be anything to do with a Muppet Project, I think it might have been before The Muppet Show era.

It was released by the 'Signature' record label, It has no date on it.

The Label goes like this -

Signature
12023
MAH 10,774
NOT FOR SALE

Tick-Tock Sick
(J.Henson)

Jim Henson
Orchestra Conducted by Frank Sinatra

A Product Of Hanover - Signature Record Corp.

Thanks for that. I remember now when this came out. I put off the purchase at the time and had since forgotten all about it.

If anyone's interested in purchasing it, you can get it directly from the official Raymond Scott website for only $26 including shipping as opposed to over 30 bucks with shipping at Amazon.
