Street Season 48
Sesame Street's 48th season
officially began Monday August 6 on PBS. After you see the new episodes,
post here and let us know your thoughts.
Discussion in 'Fraggle Rock' started by Twisted Tails, May 26, 2013.
I see they got Boober to join the Poohbahs.
Somebody has to clean up all those costumes when they're done.
This sketch of Boober chasing his hat is from the Jim Henson archives. So, I believe the artists were sketching Fraggles to still try to figure out what their personalities are (that includes Boober as well). Enjoy!!
Oh my goodness! I have never seen a picture like this. The caption was supposed to be: "Fraggles have prehensile tufted tails, which, at times, seem to have minds of their own."
What I do know is every Fraggle is different including their personalities.
All these great images are in the 2005 Fraggle Rock style Guide.
Have you more pictures from this style guide?
Here is the cover and some sample pages....
Yes Thank you for posting the image.
I would love to see the other Fraggle images, espacially Red and Gobo!
Please post it!
No style guides are not for sale, very rare and seldom do they come up for sale. eBay is the best bet to find one, but expect a long wait!!
Side bottom is not in the style guide, it only features the main five, Matt, Gorgs! doozers, Sprocket, trash heap, Philo Gunge!!
show us more of this Pictures from this style guide!
I have no luck to buy this interesting book but i hope you share this Images with us other Fraggle Fans!!!
Here's another great image just posted on the fraggle rock Facebook page....
Hey FR fans, take a look at this.
Fraggle Rock artwork is also included, Thomas Hope style. If you want to look for more of his artwork, the website is: MisterHope.com.
Enjoy and Happy Fraggle Friday!
His art style is very similar to Katie Cook's.
Oh how I love Wembley. This drawing was again from the archives while Micheal Frith (yeah he created the Fraggles) was trying to figure out what kind of personality and characteristics Wembley would have before we all knew that he was a wembler and of course has trouble deciding.
Actually, according to the DVD extras and pack-ins, the Fraggle Five's personalities had been determined well before the Fraggles reached their final designs. Back when Frith was drawing them like hairy Sneetches they already had their names and core traits. And while Frith designed the Fraggles, he did not create them altogether.
Wembley is holding his blind fold, he has just took it off after playing a game of hidey with the other Fraggles!!
These illustrations are by Bruce McNally too, not MK Frith!!
Thank you for the corrections, Chris.
You're probably right! Bruce was the one that did the drawings and colors for Fraggles.
