For those of you looking for patterns to make ball shapes for heads or bodies here's a tip - do a search for instructions on making juggling balls. Many sites contain patterns for making four panel juggling balls which make good spherical shapes. Try this one:

I think Buck Beaver also has some spherical patterns for foam on his site.

The best place to look for links is The Puppetry Homepage. A couple of years ago my web site used to have a section called "The Puppet Bin" where the construction process for different types of puppets was discussed step-by-step. I'll take a look through my archieve and see if I still have the HTML files.

So far I've found one of the tutorials I mentioned in my previous post. It's more of an overview though. It's for constructing 14'0 giant puppets, which are actually really cool.

It's now posted here.
