Our second Christmas menu of the holiday season just went on-line on Muppet Central's home page. Join Statler & Waldorf as Robert & Jacob Marley from "Muppet Christmas Carol". Let us know what you think about our latest holiday menu designed by James Carroll.

We'll be adding new home page menus every few days throughout the holiday season. From December 21st to December 25th, everyone will be able to vote here on the forum for their favorite Christmas menu. Whichever one is your favorite, we'll put up after Christmas until New Year's Day.

    Merry Christmas everyone!

To quote Pepe, "Ooooooooh nice! Does it come with action figures?"

Actually, forget the action figures, it's great!

Well errr .... it's a bit cold and dark and i for one miss the cute snow and fluffy wuffy characters but the effects are very good and well designed. I can't wait for the flash menu with skating penguins !!!!

Thanx. Yeah, we tried different ways to brighten it up, but we went the classic rout. Your comments will effect next year's version of these menus.

Who said there where skating penguins? ;)

Oh golly, oh geesh, it would be a travesty for there not to be ... the first thing that came into my mind on seeing Marley and Marley zipping about was Penguin Skating !

What would Christmas be without Muppet penguins?

i was just wondering about that. I prefer the other one cuz it had that HILARIOUS picture of the Two Headed Monster with Santa hats and beards. I loved it! Was that in MFC? I havent seen that in years.

The two headed monster as Santa is my favorite bit too. Thats why it was included over Big Bird or a more popular SS cast member. "Is nothing sacred!" - Sam from MFC :)

There will be a few different menus all with their own feels and themes. Remember all of these because you guys are going to be voting on the one you want to see from the 25th to the 30th.

I'm seeing what I can do to brighten up the current menu. We tried everything from Christmas lights to shiny red bulbs hung from the chains. Nothing really had the right balance. I have an idea for a very subtle modification. Stay tuned.

*shudders* That'd be the Christmas i'd spend in therapy ..... probably with two Muppet Penguins and a confused chicken lover in the room next door !

Thanx Phillip! I think this new version is a little bit brighter while keeping in the spirit of the source material.

Luke. A penguinless Christmas would be very dreary indeed. But I will not confirm or deny the appearance of gratuitous penguins! That's my story and I'm sticking to it!

Geez, I was sure people would like this one. It was the first that I made. Hmmm. It's interesting. That was a classic bit. And I was worried it would look too merry for purists out there. Maybe next year we'll put back the lights and bulbs. Will penguins be in the next menu? Stay tuned. The order has not been decided and I have not confirmed the use of penguins. LOL! I aint sayin!! It's just interesting to hear what people like and don't. I have been kind of surprised so far. :)

    Well I liked it...

(I would also like it if you did an all-Bill one, but I'm not going to push my luck) :D

So you're the one. LOL! I had a lot of fun making this particular one because it involved a different theory that I had to pull off. It's the first idea I had. Everyone seems to be talking about the Marleys on the figure threads so I picked up on that vibe.

A Bill menu...well, maybe next year. ;) I'll see what we can do. By next year we could do twice the menus or more! That was kind of the idea, but these things take a while to conceptualize, sketch out and script. Does Bill have 8 Muppet Show characters? Bobo, Pepe, Rowlf, Zippity, Johnny, Chef, Lew (new), any others? Does he do any of the Elvis's?

I like it, but not as much as the others (The MFC menu was awesome;) ).

How about doing a menu for the classic Sesame Street (With the old version of Hooper's Store in the background)?

The cards section is now online. Hooper's store is in it. Everything has to be modified to fit the frame. We have Sesame characters included in the Christmas menus, but not Hooper's store. There is much we can do in years to come. Actually, our Sesame Street menu in the cards section is one of the menus that I particularly like. Glad you like the MFC menu. I really wanted 12 menus this year, but had to settle for about half that.
