Enjoy this outline, which was suggested to me by kathy26. It takes place in the fourth season.

    Cold Open
Scooter tells Shari Lewis that the show starts in fifteen seconds. Lamb Chop has a bit of stage fright, but then Gonzo tells her she'll be fine. Lamb Chop figures that if Gonzo can make it, she'll be surre to as well.

    Introduction
Kermit introduces Annie Sue Pig, while an angry Miss Piggy decides she'll be in the opening number.

Opening Number: A Spoonful of Sugar
Annie Sue sings the Mary Poppins song, while Miss Piggy invades and takes over.

    Balcony
Waldorf: Well, a spoonful of sugar does make the medicine go down.
Statler: Yes, but it doesn't make this show go down.

    Muppet Labs
Bunsen has Beaker test out the new Muppet Labs pencil sharpener. However, the pencil gets sucked in while Beake rstill holds it, causing his fingers to get sharpened.

    Backstage
Kermit chats with Shari Lewis and Lamb Chop, who are excited about being on the show, especially Lamb Chop. However, Lamb Chop gets scarred when The Swedish Chef offers them some lamb chops to eat.

    Introduction
Kermit introduces Shari Lewis and Lamb Chop.

Public Domain Medley Shari Lewis and Lamb Chop, backed by Bobby Benson and his baby band, sing a medley of public domain songs, including The Eensy Weency Spider, Hey Fiddle Diddle, Old MacDonald, and When the Saints Come Marching In.

    Balcony
    Statler: I'm not surprised.
    Waldorf: About what?
Statler: Them singing public domain songs. It figures they can't afford nay real songs.

    UK Spot: Precious and Few
A pig sailor sings while sailing on a ship.

    Backstage
Gonzo is outraged when Kermit informs him that his act -- juggling bowling balls while humming Beethoven's Fifth -- has to be cut from the show.

    Song: You Wonderful You
Miss Piggy sings while Rowlf plays the piano, but eventually gets a bad case of the hiccups during the song.

    Backstage
Perhaps inspired by the last performance, Gonzo asks if he can go on, only he can hiccup the tune of Beethoven's Fifth while juggling bowling balls. Kermit still says no, becaus ethere is only time for the closing number.

    Introduction
Kermit introduces Shari Lewis and Lamb Chop for one last number, one of Kermit's favorites.

    Closing Number: The Rainbow Connection
Shari Lewis and Lamb Chop sing the song from The Muppet Movie, at first backed by Zeke on banjo, and later joined by the Muppets, including Fozzie, Robin, Gonzo, Beauregard, Floyd, Link, a kangaroo, and a raccoon.

    Good Night
Gonzo invades the goodnights with his juggling act, but accidently drops the bowling balls on Kermit's foot, causing Kermit to fall into the orhcestra pit, so Lamb Chop says "He'll see you next time on The Muppet Show!" They are joined by Robin, Miss Piggy, Annie Sue, Zeke, Baskerville, and a baby.

Very good outline for a TMS episode. Though I would have had a bit more Shari and Lamb Chop in there, they seemed pretty abandoned in the second half of the show, that's only a minor nitpick though.
