A number of sites on the web list common "mondegreens" or misheard lyrics from popular songs. Some famous examples are "There's a bathroom on the right" (bad moon on the rise) or "Excuse me while I kiss this guy" (kiss the sky)

How many Sesame Street sketches did you mis-hear when you first saw/heard them, and only learn perhaps years later what the real words were?

In the one where the king has a picnic and everybody brings watermelon, then potato salad--
Misheard: "Mine eyes suggest you plan your picnic"
Correct: "Might I suggest you plan your picnic"

In the "King of 8" sketch--
Misheard: "Important news comes from the Queen, I'm no baby..."
Correct: "Important news comes from the Queen, a new baby..."

In the doll house film--
Misheard: "Two little girls in a little doll house" (must've been awfully short!)
Correct: "Two little girls and a little doll house"

In Oscar and Grover's "Alphabet Game", I'm still not sure if Oscar said, for the letter W, "Waste" or "Worst".
Misheard: "'F' is for fright bull!"
Correct: "'F' is for frightful"
