I have been searching for a special Animal Toy for my 4 year old daughter. I bought a set of muppet beanies from the disney store in 2004 or 2005. When my daughter was born in 2006 Animal stole her heart and she has carried him around every since. All she wants for Christmas is a new Animal that's the same as hers. I've been looking on ebay for months. They are too big or too little or not the right style. Can anyone help me? He's 12 or 13 inches, hard to tell because I think his legs have stretched. I know he's collectible and I'm willing to pay. I have 100% feedback on ebay and will pay with paypal. Please see picks! Thanks!:halo:

Howdy, Kyleighsboo! I have that exact Animal, and am willing to sell him! Here are a couple pictures; please let me know what you would consider reasonable (that is, if you're interested)!

Full-Body Specimen...
Animal Up-Close!

EDIT: Actually, they may not be the same one... sorry... :frown:

Hi kyleighsboo-

The Animal plush in question, I think, was one that was produced exclusively for the Disney Store circa 2006-07. It was part of a series that included Kermit, Fozzie, Gonzo, Miss Piggy and Animal and (I believe) each character was released in 2 sizes: a smaller 10-12 inch size, and then a larger plush. Muppet Wiki does not have a lot on this series, but you can see the large Miss Piggy from the set, as well as the Kermit/Miss Piggy valentines plush here:

So, I did a little Google searching for you. This guy is pretty hard to find, but the good news is I think I tracked one down:

http://www.amazon.com/Muppets-13-Animal-Plush-Doll/dp/B000CPSRSU

The bad news is, they're asking $45. He's been sold out from the Disney Store for more than a couple of years, so this seller is asking for a premium.

Hope this helps!

I had actually purchased that Animal on Amazon. When it came it was a different version. The seller blamed the photo problem on Amazon and refunded the money. I'm still looking. I'm quite willing to pay $50 for one. I hope someone has one.

Ah, too bad. Sorry to hear that.

I will keep an eye out for you, but I have not seen one of these guys on eBay in some time. Best of luck.

Unfortunately, as ElecMayhem alluded to, the particular Animal plush your daughter had is nearly impossible to find as it wasn't made for very long or in very high numbers. Sadly, you might have to settle for a similar Animal plush, rather than the exact one she once had. I know that might not seem ideal, but I can tell you that a similar situation happened recently with my friend's five year old daughter.

She had a pretty rare older Muppet plush of Gonzo which she carried around everywhere. One day, she accidently left him the the park and when they went back to find him, he was long gone. I personally looked high and low for an exact replacement and was unable to find one. I did find a similar looking, but larger, version which I bought for her as a birthday gift. I agonized and worried that she wouldn't like it because it wasn't HER Gonzo, but time came for her to open the present and she was absolutely delighted with it.

That said, keep up the search, you might luck out (and I'll be keeping my eyes open as well), but here are two similar looking animals you may want to consider...
