Storyteller: More like singing aloud, songbird. And what's that sticking out of your purse?
MN: Well, first things first. Went to Atlantic City to see Asia (the 80s rock band, not the continent) in concert.
Nora: Atlantic City? As in casino central?
MN: Yes, crazy as it may seem. But it was an incredible show, I'm telling you. It's their 25th anniversary, all the original members.
Nora: Wow...and isn't one of them a member of one of those groups you're nuts over?
MN: That's right, Carl Palmer is the drummer for both Asia and ELP...and wouldn't you love to see him challenge Animal to a drum duel.
Storyteller: Ooooh...now, what's that in your purse?
MN: Well, see, since a dragon is the central motif in some of the album artwork, they were selling little plush dragons at the T-shirt stand. (pulls dragon out) I'll have to give it a name.
Nora: Looks kind of like one of the dragons from Puppetman.
MN: You noticed. But it's too pretty to be Gertha.

(up in heaven)

R: Or Rita.
JH: But Rita was the human star of Dragon Time, not a dragon.
R: Oh? Just try having to sing some absurdly sunny folk song with her.

Well... You could always go with Cinders or Desiree. Or if you need help with dragon names, I can roll some off of the ol' flaming tongue. Better mine than the flaming tongues from the fireplace.

Ernie: *Sigh*
Bry: (knocks on the door) Ernie?
Ernie: Come in.
Bry: (walks in the room) Hi, Ernie.

Bry: How ya doin'?
Ernie: Eh. Okay.
Bry: You wanna talk about it?
Ernie: I miss Bert a lot.
Bry: Oh...
Ernie: It's just not the same without my best pal around.
(Ernie starts his song as he tries to tell me how he is feeling)

(calls out) Hey Big Bird! Are you looking for me?

Big Bird: Oh! Hi there, Mr. Bubble Gum (innocently mispronouncing the name)! I know you've been sad with your friend missing and all. So, the Birdkateers and I got together and made you a new friend. (holds up a man made of things out of the garden: body, legs and arms made of sticks/twigs, a head made from a pinecone, and glued to the pinecone are acorn eyes and a walnut nose, various flowers for "hair"; there is also a "bowtie" made of leaves.) We named him Artie, but you can change it if you want. I hope you like it!
