As you can see here, I got interested in writing poems lately. So naturally, I started writing Muppet ones, too. I'm not sure how many I'll end up writing, but to start, here's one about Robin:

Robin

Sittin' on a staircase
His little green self
Why he enjoys sitting there
I wondered that myself
Smaller than the rest of us
Couldn't reach the highest shelf
Being green and small, he was
He might be Santa's elf

Sittin' on a staircase
About the world, he thought
The wondrous magic that roams within
And all the dreams he got
Roaming 'round an undersea garden
Across the hills, he trot
Wondering what a rainbow holds
And the butterflies he caught

I might add more to this poem if I feel like it. Meanwhile, feel free to criticize and point out references

p.s. I can't believe I posted in the FanFic forum!

Nice reaction, considering I wrote it in only 10 minutes…

Oh, and special thanks to Hubert, for giving me the idea of writing amuppet poems.
Some of the greatest poems were written in a short amount of time...Robert Frost wrote one of the best poems of all time in one evening.

And Vincent, this is your moment to shine, don't give me credit...

...

But if you insist... :stick_out_tongue::smile:

Another (and should be the last) stanza of the poem

Sittin' on a staircase
Worries, he has few
Enthusiastic, and hopeful
And very musical, too
He views the whole world differently
From his unique point of view
He brings joy and youthful spirit
To everyone, me and you

I like the poem ever better now. An even perfecter ending.

Please keep on writing some Muppet poems.
