Two teams of ten Muppet characters are stranded on Henson Island until they got voted off, of course. Only one Muppet character can be the soul Muppet Survivor! Your job is to vote off the Muppets one by one each day. Here's a list of the Muppet castaways:

Team Hi-Ho:

Kermit the Frog (of Muppet fame): Kermit is the leader of the Muppets. He's smart and very talented. Kermit is known to play the banjo and catches flies with his tongue. Luxury item: a banjo

Miss Piggy (of Muppet fame): She's the fashion moi-del and love of Kermit's. Her brief appearance was in "The Muppet Show: Sex & Violence". Her favorite job is a karate chop, with a "Hi-yaaah!" Luxury item: a mirror

Dr. Phil Van Neuter (from Muppets Tonight!): Neuter is the mad scientist (or you should call him a veterinarian). He's very evil and scary-looking. Luxury item: a medical book

Sam Eagle (of Muppet fame): Sam is a very disappointed eagle. He's blue and he's proud to be an American. Luxury item: a flag

Ludo (from Labyrinth): Ludo is a cross between a gorilla and a Minotaur. Actually, he's a big, red, giant, dimwitted monster. Luxury item: a TV set

Boober Fraggle (from Fraggle Rock): Boober is a very dumb Fraggle. He wears a scarf and a red hat. He washes clothes. Luxury item: a washboard

Aughra (from The Dark Crystal): Aughra is a soothsayer. She lives in an orrery room in Hablidad. Does she murder Gelflings? No. Luxury item: a chemistry set

Snuffleupagus (from Sesame Street): Snuffy is a cross between a mammoth and an...er...anteater, I think. He's Big Bird's best friend. Snuffy used to be invisible but he's no longer. Luxury item: a picnic basket

Traveling Matt (from Fraggle Rock): Traveling Matt is the only Fraggle that leaves Fraggle Rock. He always sends postcards to his nephew Gobo. Luxury item: a memo pad

Oscar the Grouch (from Sesame Street): Oscar is a green grouch. He lives in a trashcan and owns an elephant and a worm. Luxury item: a broken guitar

Team Wahoo:

Wembley Fraggle (from Fraggle Rock): Wembley is a nervous Fraggle. You can't tell but his eyes move. Luxury item: a suitcase

Hoggle (from Labyrinth): Hoggle is a grumpy troll. He works at the gate near the Labyrinth. Sometimes he kills fairies. Luxury item: a butterfly net

The Swedish Chef (of Muppet fame): The Swedish Chef is very incomprehensible. He speaks mock Swedish. Luxury items: some cooking accessories

Gloat Frackle (the green one from The Great Santa Claus Switch): Gloat is a green monster with a sharp beak and two fangs in his upper jaw. Remember in the Joel Grey episode segment "At the Dance", he said to the red-nosed girl, "I just think I'm stuck on you!" Luxury item: a black-&-white TV set

Thidwick the Moose (from The Wubbulous World of Dr. Seuss): Thidwick is a big-hearted moose. His antlers are perfect for animals to ride on as passengers. Luxury item: a lunchbox

The Skeksis General (from The Dark Crystal): Skeksis are vile, power-hungry, vulture-like creatures. The general is known to be emperor. Luxury item: a scepter

Thog (from The Muppet Valentine Show): Thog is a big blue monster. He has ears that go up. Thog also appeared on The Muppet Show. Luxury item: a pair of sneakers

Big Bird (from Sesame Street): Big Bird is an 8-foot tall yellow bird. He lives in his home on Sesame Street. Luxury item: Radar, his teddy bear

Morris Fraggle (from Fraggle Rock): We know about Morris Fraggle because he wears a sweater and glasses. Luxury item: a storybook

Elmo (from Sesame Street): Elmo is a bright red monster. He first appeared as a minor character on Sesame Street since 1979. Luxury item: a toy piano

Day 1:

The castaways are brought to their island paradises and separated into two teams:

Team Hi-Ho:

The contestants introduce themselves and try to get settled in by putting up camp with various things they found near the beach. Kermit and Ludo try to start a fire right away and it takes them a couple of hours, but they eventually get it started. Dr. Phil, Oscar, and Aughra decide to gather some food and find a source of water. Boober is washing clothes in the ocean, while Traveling Matt decides to take a long walk. Sam gets the cooking supplies ready, while Miss Piggy starts to lie on a lounge chair to tan. Kermit says to the camera, "Things are going great so far. Ludo and I made fire. Aughra, Dr. Phil, and Oscar already found some fruit, and Snuffy caught a coconut today. Boober is so dumb; he washed his clothes in the ocean. Traveling Matt took a long walk. Miss Piggy isn't doing much, but she'll probably start helping out later. Ludo is a really nice guy; we got along from the start."

Team Wahoo:

Like the other team, Team Wahoo started to look for food. They decided to set up camp the next day, unless one of them found some time. Gloat Frackle (the green one) made fire without asking for help, but he made within a few minutes. Wembley is swimming in the water, while Morris is reading his book. Hoggle, Thidwick, Elmo, and Big Bird all went to find food, and found some fruit, a couple of vegetables and a stream. Gloat and the Swedish Chef set up the cooking pots and such. The Skeksis general started to set up a few tents and a hammock between two sturdy trees. There was only room for four Muppets though; they'd setting things up the following day. Thog already started to take a nap on the hammock while the others worked.

Big Bird: "Everyone is really nice to me anyway. We accomplished quite a bit. Thog said he needed his rest, and Hoggle was a little annoyed with him. Gloat seems pretty independent. He isn't really opening up to the other contestants, but he's a hard worker."

The First Immunity Challenge:

"Hi, everybody! I'm your favorite host of Muppet Survivor Guy Smiley! The first challenge will be an obstacle course. Each contestant will race through the sandy beach, climb a tree to ring a bell, and swing across the bottomless pit to get to the finish line. The last Muppet character to make it across the team will be the loser, and one of them will be voted to go home. Contestants, are you ready. GO!"

The racers get off to a rather good start, except for Thog and Sam. The first to get to the tree is Kermit, followed by Hoggle, and then Oscar. Oscar got up to the tree first and moved to the final part of the course, and Gloat climbed past Kermit and Hoggle for second place. In last place is Thog. It took Oscar a few times to swing to the other side, but Hoggle got across his on his first try by giving him First Place. Oscar made it to the second, and Kermit came in third. Gloat came in fourth, followed by Boober, Morris, The Swedish Chef, and Elmo. Snuffy made it to the ninth. Wembley made tenth. Thidwick came in eleventh. Ludo came in twelfth. Piggy in thirteenth. Neuter in fourteenth. Big Bird in fifteenth. Aughra in sixteenth. Matt in seventeenth. The General in eighteenth. Thog swung past Sam for nineteenth place. Sam came in last causing his team to lose, and Team Wahoo won immunity!

Which of Team Hi-Ho will go home packing? Please vote now.

Not a vote, but a rebuttal...

Boober Fraggle (from Fraggle Rock): Boober is a very dumb Fraggle. He wears a scarf and a red hat. He washes clothes. Luxury item: a washboard
 Boober is NOT dumb. I repeat, not. Not, not not. He is just very cautious and pessimistic. He actually likes doing work like laundry or cooking. This makes him different from the other normally happy-go-lucky Fraggles, but it does NOT make him dumb.

I know the Boober isn't that dumb. Why don't you just vote him out.

Because I wasn't voting. I was merely issuing a rebuttal. And if you know he's not that dumb, then why did you say he was?

Miss Piggy would get a few votes for her laziness and diva behavior, but ultimately Sam the Eagle would be voted out. Sam would be very opinionated, would look down on the group of "weirdos" that he's been teamed with, and would probably boss everyone around a bit. That's exactly the kind of behavior that will get out booted on an early episode of Survivor.

The first vote is the non-strategic vote. It goes to the one muppet who is either most annoying to the rest of the team or is most unfit for living in Survivor-like fashion. Anyone who draws unfavorable attention to themselves is a good candidate at the beginning.

Kermit - has a sort of natural leadership role. He may get a few people upset if he attempts to automatically assume this role. However, he's not bossy enough to really upset anyone. He's safe.

Piggy - As the Great Gonzo said, her laziness and diva behavior won't win her many friends. That and her tendancy to hit people. However, she has strength and some good will power. She didn't do wonderfully at the challenge, but she did okay. She's a good candidate for first vote.

Dr. Phil - Can be loud and draw unwarranted attention to himself, but didn't do anything to draw votes.

Sam - Good worker probably a good chef. However, his need for order and discipline doesn't quite gel with most of the others. Lost the first challenge which makes him a very strong target.

Ludo - He's strong and silent. Definitely out of the picture for any votes.

Boober - Kermit seems to have something against him, but didn't do anything that would rile up the rest of the team.

Aughra - Can be really annoying with her weird Yoda-style of talking. She's sure to rub a few people the wrong way. A potential candidate for first vote.

Snuffy - Quiet like Ludo, which keeps him out of the spotlight and away from votes.

Traveling Matt - aloof and doesn't blend in with the rest of the team. He may garner some resentment from other team members since he seems to be on his own. However, first votes usually go to direct aggravation rather than indirect.

Oscar - Did help out by gathering food, however, his idea of food is not going to be the same as the rest of the team's. Did great in the challenge, but his constant whining, complaining and grouchiness has got to be a sore spot with the other players.

So that leaves us with Piggy, Sam, and Oscar as prime candidates with Aughra and Matt getting a bit of minor discussion.

Unfortunately with Sam being a vocal outsider and the direct cause of losing the challenge, he's probably got the first vote locked, much as I hate to vote for him. But Piggy and Oscar should both get at least one vote as a warning that they are prime candidates if they don't shape up quickly.

Boy this idea took off in a flash. I guess Survivor games ain't en vogue no more. Is Day 2 coming or has it been cancelled due to lack of interest?
