Hey Guys,
Was anyone suprised by the Muppets they saw in It's A Very Merry Muppet Christmas Movie ?

I was glad to see the return of Scooter and Janice back !

And i was suprised to see Pops, Lew Zealand, Chip from The Jim Henson Hour, The Bossmen and Harold Pudman from Muppets Tonight.

Did anyone else notice other Muppets in it that were un expected ?

Maybe we should list all the Muppets that were in it in this thread ?

See ya

I was so glad to see the bossmen because I had never seen them before. But, I don't think I saw any Fraggles. Aren't there Fraggles in most henson movies and specials?

This is actually the third time I had seen the bossmen, and was blown away! Though they seem like they are 50 feet high in person.

And what? Chip from the guerrilla television segments of JHH and from MFS was in VMC? Hmmm!

I'd love for someone to list every single named/non named Muppet seen in VMC. It was just great seeing the long awaited comebacks, and obscure characters(not to mention lots of penguins!) Just was weird not seeing Clifford...I dont care what any fan out there says, Clifford rocks! (poor Clash, his characters get dissed on the most)

Yeah! Kevin is one of the coolest common era performers (now that Frank's on other projects, and a lot of Jerry's characters look like they will soon be recast!) I mean, Clifford, Leon, Hoots the Owl, Benny Rabbit, and yes.. even Elmo were just great because he made them great. I mean, Elmo was switched from perfomer to performer until Clash made him into something. Too bad he's so preoccupied with the little red dude to play anyone esle.

To Warrick! Glad to see that the UK (the place to be for Muppet fans) got a chance to see this new movie. I personally loved it, and I thpought it was one of the Best muppet Films in recent years. Did ypou get the same version as us, or did you get bonus, UK only scenes as usual? I am so glad SOMEONE gets to see them.

From the running times, I think we got the same cut as the US.

Hiya,

I liked the movie very much, but found it odd that JerryNelson's characters didn't sound like themselves very much, and Bill Baretta (per Tough Pigs) performed Lew Zealand?

what's up with Nelson?

Well, Nelson's Pretty old. He's like 60 something. And though he could still do it, it probably puts a strain on him, especially his voice. Jerry Did play Robin, but it had to be sped up.
