"Muppets Tonight!" was a short lived new version of the classic 'The Muppet Show', that hoped to appeal to a new generation. This series continued with several traditions that the original series did. Each episode revolved around a celebrity guest and there were new Muppet skits throughout the show. New muppets are introduced throughout the series who would later appear in the newer Muppet films. The show itself gains a new host as Kermit the Frog passes the torch to a new Muppet named Clifford who hosts the show.
Sam and Friends, Henson's nightly five-minute show on NBC's WRC, won him an Emmy in 1958 and introduced Kermit to the world. During the sixties, the Muppets made many appearances on variety shows and were regulars on The Today Show, The Ed Sullivan Show and The Jimmy Dean Show. While the Muppets grew in popularity, Jim developed another career as a filmmaker. His experimental short film, Time Piece, was nominated for an Academy Award in 1965.

Yes, please don't ever trust sell.com for official releases of series not on DVD yet. It'll always be a bootleg release.
Also, if this were an official release, it would be from Disney, and wouldn't contain those bonus features (as they're Henson property). Not to mention we would have gotten word of a release long ago.
