...For the child in all of us, "The Muppet Wizard of Oz" is sure to be "popular" when it gets its world premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival before airing on ABC. The movie will air as part of "the Wonderful World of Disney", which is Saturday nights on ABC. I have contacted ABC and the Muppet Holding Co about the exact air date, and they all say that it has not been decided yet. But they say it will be in "mid- to late May 2005" (the exact week will not be set until mid-April). So it will probally be May 14, 21, or 28. (Probally not May 7, as they keep saying Mid/Late May; not early May). My sources say an official press release on the air date should be ready by Mid-April, once the spring Wonderful World of Disney line-up is all worked out. I'll keep you all posted as soon as the air date is released.

Go figure. I knew you'd say that. The possible airdate just has to be the weeks that I'm moving across country. Just my luck.
