Nicest Character in Fraggle Rock?

Yeah, I think Wembley is the nicest because he's always letting everybody else do whatever they want to do. And he's very compassionate...remember his conversation w/ the frog in Space Frog Follies?

I would say Mokey is the nicest, but then again, I love her so I'm biased xD

    That's cute and funny!

Yes I agree, and both of them are always there when someone needs them. Even if it's someone demanding as Begoony or a Gorg. Mokey however does know when to stop letting people walk over her such as standing up to Begoony or stop trying to agree with Red. (Although Red wanted to agree on everything too) Wembley only said no to anyone in the Mean Genie episode. I think the other fraggles particualry Mokey "baby" him because they really worry that somebody cruel might try to take advantage of Poor Wembley. (Nobody would dare mess with my Fraggles!) (Thankfully very few people try)

    I agree with you!

Nobody tries harder to make everyone happy than Wembley. Absolutely no one.

    That's true!

That's certainly true, and he's the only Fraggle that acts in charcter nearly 100% of the time. Even Mokey can be a bit demanding on him (by accident) when he's singing "Why won't someone help me for a change?" she asks for the cheese she wants to paint? We love you Wembley! Epsiode title and truth for all Fraggle fans!

    That's so sweet!

I'd agree about the others babying Wembly because they're afraid of him getting hurt, except that I don't think they really have much concept of how people really can be cruel. They know they don't like the gorgs, and they think only the worst of humans, but that's mostly because they don't understand them. I think things like the River of Life and maybe some other smaller moments were really a wakeup call to them. Gobo may just possibly have a slightly better understanding of things, maybe.
I do agree with SpeedTracer that no one consciously tries to make people happy more than Wembly. Sorry, I love Mokey, but I wouldn't say she's the nicest. Just think of her in A Cave of One's Own or Secret Society of the Poobas.

    Oh that's nice!
  15. Dominicboo1 Well-Known Member

When is she not nice in Poobas?
  16. Fragglemuppet Active Member

Sorry for the late response. I'm thinking of when Red was trying to get her to laugh, and was singing Gobo's song. She yelled at Red not to sing, and then she told Gobo that it was a very silly song, which of course he took as a complement and laughed about.
  17. Collgoff Well-Known Member

That is one of the weirdest thing I have ever hear'd!
  18. Dominicboo1 Well-Known Member

I guess you're right. I didn't really consider her being ot nice for singing that song but then again she says "Don't you dare sing Red!" Now that I think about it, that was acting out character for Mokey.
  19. Collgoff Well-Known Member

    What dose mean?
  20. Dominicboo1 Well-Known Member

Acting out of character is when a character does something that shocks you by being differnt from their personality. Mokey's usually so nice and lenient, but then she seemed pretty mad at Red.
