FAQ:

Where will we be staying?
At the luxurious San Marcos Golf Resort in Chandler, Arizona. This historic
hotel is giving us a wonderful rate and providing a beautiful venue for the
Festival. The workshops and most of the performances will be on site. The
hotel includes two restaurants, a bar, a championship golf course, and swimming pools! Make your room reservations directly with the hotel and don't delay! There are a limited number of rooms available.

Is this an expensive Festival?
No! P of A members registration is just $100 for all performances and
workshops if paid by May 1. Venue size limits registrants, so be sure to register early or you might miss out.

What are the rooms like?
No dorm rooms here. Each room has a private patio or balcony and includes
cable and high speed modem!

Will it be hot?
Yes, it will be. We can just about guarantee every day will be over 100
degrees, but more than 3 million people live here year-round. How do we do it? Air conditioning! So don't forget a sweater, because sometimes it's downright chilly inside. And there is very little walking at this Festival.

Can I extend my stay at the hotel at the Festival rate?
Yes, you can. You can arrive early and/or stay later. Be sure to ask for
the Puppeteers Festival rate when you call.

What does the meal package include?
A full breakfast, lunch, and dinner starting with Thursday dinner and ending
with Sunday breakfast.

What else is there to do in Arizona?
Lots! World class museums, casinos, Indian ruins, and the Grand Canyon, just to mention a few!

What airport should I fly into?
Sky Harbor International Airport in Phoenix. Check out www.SouthwestAirlines.com for good deals.

Can I perform at Potpourri?
Yes, indeed. Peter Allen will be hosting at least one Potpourri evening. But
keep your act to under 5 minutes or else!

How do I register?
Download and print out a registration form from the website - www.azpuppetfest.com. Then send it out with $100 deposit to registrars Hank and Karen Stewart right away! And be sure to make your reservations with the San Marcos Resort.

What if I have more questions?
Call Festival Director Nancy Smith at 602-262-2050. She knows most of what's going on and will do her best to find out the rest.
