I figured we might have a thread dedicated to links of all kinds that will help make searching for particular items easier.

Be sure when you post the links you post what they are for: materials, fur, feathers, fleece, dye, or information on puppet construction.

Such as in another thread, Convincing John posted a link to sellers of Ostrich Feathers. We all know that Ostrich Feathers make great, flowy puppet hair.

Here's another place for foam, in Burbank, CA:

And this is American Science and Surplus. When I lived in Chicago, I would go to the store and just wander up and down the aisles, always finding something I could use (gasket rubber, foam balls, fishing floats, weird but cool stuff that I still haven't figured out what to do with yet).

Noreen Young sells 16 oz jars of rubber that it ideal for building flexable rubber puppet heads. She also has an excelent DVD that show how to make these types of puppets, hightly reccommended.

How about other puppeteer message boards?

Not that this one lacks anything, I just enjoy variety.

Quick! Find a link to something puppet-like and post it so we don't muffin this thread, or we might all catch the Noggle-whompin' Gohgmocropper's disease!

What is the Noggle-whompin' Gohgmocropper's disease you ask?

I don't know! But doesn't it sound simply hideous?
