Puzzle sketch on Oldskool Sesame Street?

Discussion in 'Classic Sesame Street' started by cherrypotion27, Jun 2, 2009.

  1. One memory of oldskool Sesame Street is of a puzzle segment. The sketch featured a scrambled puzzle image that unscrambled itself to weird music (if memory serves me correctly, one of these puzzles was an image of Ernie, and the sketch ended with Ernie's snickering laugh). Does anyone remember these puzzle sketches? And are any of them on Youtube? Thanks.

Yes... They used those back in the day. They were six puzzle squares that kept sliding about, at least the five pieces we got at first. When everything was in place, the last piece came tumbling into the picture. There was one with a fire engine and I think another one with a horse too.

There was no sound of Ernie Laughing and I recall the truck being a dump truck instead.

Don't think that was music though just funny sounds probably made by a synthasizer.
