    And don't forget Carface...

At least in the cartoon series. I forgot who played him in the movie.

Probably this weekend Antenna TV will run a McHale's Navy marathon.
The Dirty Dozen, The Poseidon Adventure, Convoy, all classic stuff. RIP big guy.

What? I never even heard of his name... and he was the voice of Mermaid Man!
    RIP.

Yeah, the fact that it took five posts to mention Carface kinda disturbs me. Anyway, Ernest played Carface in the cartoon series as well as the movie sequel. Vic Tayback voiced him in the first movie. I think Ernest's voice suits the design better.

Fare thee well Ernest. Didn't always like the movies, but what an unforgettable face! Fun to watch, always.

Oh yeah. Definitely. And I think he had better chemistry with Charles Nelson Riley too.

Man, Dom Deluise, Charles Nelson Riley, and Ernest.... no wonder why I enjoyed watching that cartoon series when it was on. They just had some lovely voice acting that sounded wonderful all together.

I haven't watched SpongeBob in years (personally, I think it really went downhill after Stephen Hillenburg's departure). But today I randomly decided to watch the show on Nick, and was glad to see that Nick is airing several of the Mermaid Man episodes this afternoon. A fitting tribute Ernest Borgnine. May he rest in peace.

So apparently one of Ernest's relatives has been living in my city for years. Very strange, but cool.
