Was there an episode where Sam ever talked with J.P. Gross either on or off screen? It would be interesting if they were to ever meet. Sam being the moral decency moderator and J.P. Gross and his lady wrestlers and his horrible singing talent. lol

There wasn't. J.P. Grosse had only three Muppet Show appearances, in spite of the frequent references to him early on.

Too bad they never interracted. Hey, with Matt Vogel taking over Jerry's characters, maybe there's still an oppurtunity for that (as long as the whole "J.P. passing on and leaving the theater to the Muppets is ignored).

But I do kinda doubt that they would build a new J.P puppet...he really wasn't a very well formed character, there wouldn't really be much to do with him.
