Should the Fraggles be kept a secret or not?

Well we know that in the 2 last episodes of Fraggle Rock Doc learned they were Fraggles in the hole in the wall ( The fraggle hole) after he has been touched by Gobo Fraggle. :smirk:

So since after the episode change of address; Doc, Sprocket and the Fraggles became friends.:dreamy:

Whould Doc will able to keep the fraggles as secret or not.:sigh:

    I think he whould!:excited:

:coy:Please type up and tell us what you think!

Personally, I hope that he does keep the Fraggles a secret. But even if he does tell, most people would probably think that he has gone crazy.

If it was me, I'd keep it a secret, because if others knew about it, people would want to disturb Fraggle Rock for the sake of news stories and stuff. "HEY LOOK THERE ARE RODENTS IN THAT HOLE WHO CAN SING! Can we get a news crew down there?" The Fraggles need their solitude.

Yes, yes, I can see that happening.

They'd need to be kept a secret until they were able to stand up to the Silly Creatures of Outer Space. Too much contact too soon could be disastrous. Watch Manny's Land of Carpets and then do a little research on New Guinea cargo cults to see one way in which they are terribly vulnerable.

I think it was proven in the last episode that the Fraggles are a secret until they've done something to touch someone else. Whether Doc keeps them a secret or not is pretty irrelevant  Not that I think he WOULD tell!

I do believe the Fraggles should be kept a secret. The media today would rip them apart for a story and your house would be quarantined by the secret government agencies so they could so to speak, a-hum, "study" them.

Besides, Fraggles are invisible to those who don't believe in the magic and have never been touched by one. Touching one Fraggle seems to make all of them visible to you as well, as seen at during the last episode closing credits. Only when Doc finally discovered the true meaning of Fraggle magic, only then did the Fraggle hole appear in the room at his new location in Arizona.

Then why was there a Fraggle hole in Doc's workshop at the beginning you ask? I have to believe the magic was already there, Doc nor the Fraggles were aware of it. Dogs can see things us silly creatures can't, so Sprocket had no trouble seeing a Fraggle. Doc never closed that hole up(except one time), so he must of had the slightest hint that something might exist after the hole got blasted back open, but just kept telling himself and to Sprocket that nothing existed behind that hole in the wall to not sound/look crazy. Doc wasn't about to agree with a dog about seeing furry little creatures.

This is getting long-winded, but I also think why Traveling Matt could walk around in Outer Space and go unnoticed a lot, was to those who did see him probably thought he was just a kid in a silly costume to look like an older traveling fellow.
