I figured that since the invention of Muppet Central "clubs" have dissipated over the years it was time to bring the idea back. The idea of "Song Collector's Club" is an opportunity to create a thread listed by a certain title, in this case "The Electric Mayhem," in which we can begin listing all the songs they performed or covered over the years.
I know there will be other 'band' titles to arise which some of us may have mp3 access to and those can earn their own threads (ie, "Chris and the Alphabeats") so we can collect the entire list of songs we need.
The Electric Mayhem performed with Pearl Bailey, Lou Rawls, and others (unless I'm mistaken, which I frequently am). They also had performances where Animal had a duet with Rita Moreno or did a solo performance, or just Floyd and Zoot performing "Where You At?" All these types of performances are still considered by The Electric Mayhem.
So, I'll begin the list here and we'll see if this will help us catalog what all songs we need to collect to complete an entire Electric Mayhem works.
And, maybe we'll luck up and this research will push Diz to go ahead and do "The Complete Works of Dr. Teeth and the Electric Mayhem Band" CD compilation!
The Muppet Movie - Can You Picture That
Great Muppet Caper - Night Life
Muppets Take Manhattan - Can't Take No (For An Answer)
The Muppet Show:
Tenderly
Fever (Animal with Rita Moreno)
The New Muppet Show Theme Song by Floyd
Also, did they do any performance when they appeared on Muppet Babies?
